To Mick from Margaret - much loved indeed

You were much loved indeed Mick, by so many, my kind, wonderful, wise, loving and often funny brother in law. What are we going to do without you eh? You have been in my life for over 50 years since I was a young child and have been a constant in my life. Thank you for everything including, taking me to the emergency dental hospital in Newcastle on the back shelf of your Triumph spitfire sports car, at high speed when I was a kid and promising me it would be ok; for letting me live with you Mary and your new baby Michael when I was a teenager, so I could go to Uxbridge college and have a chance in life with your love and support; for my first ever holiday abroad with Mary, you, Mike and Dave as babies; for buying me my first toolkit especially the pink screwdriver (which I still use to this day) and teaching me DIY so I could be independent when I bought my first house; for the many, many happy and often hilarious christmases over the years with Mary and your beautiful children Mike, Dave, Helen and Richard as they grew up and for always being there for me , always - no matter what. Thank you for forgiving me when I got things wrong. You never made judgement but always gave encouragement, love and support. A total diamond with a heart of gold.  I feel so privileged to have had you in my life for over 50 years as a brother in law and an awesome friend. I will miss you and love you alway. Rest in Peace Mick, be free to fly and be sure to pop in on me sometimes.
